Privacy notice

Who we are

CanRentPro is a product of Atomic 47 Labs ("we"). This notice covers canrentpro.com and the Founding Landlord sign-up. Questions or requests: privacy@canrentpro.com, or Atomic 47 Labs, 406 Clifton Road North, Kelowna, BC V1V 1M1, Canada.

What we collect

What you enter in the sign-up form: your name, email, province, role, number of units, how you collect rent, your preferred language and, if you choose to answer, your biggest headache and what you pay for a phone line and a website.

With each sign-up we also keep the date and time, the exact consent wording you agreed to, the page language, the page you arrived on and the website that referred you (its domain only).

We don't use cookies or tracking pixels. We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which works without cookies and doesn't identify you.

Why we use it

To contact you about the Founding Landlord program, choose founding landlords, and understand what landlords need. If you checked the second box, we'll also send occasional CanRentPro news. We use your information for nothing else.

Where it's stored and who handles it

Sign-ups are stored in a MongoDB Atlas database in Canada (Toronto).

The website is hosted by Vercel, which may keep technical logs (such as IP addresses) and visit statistics outside Canada, including in the United States.

We reply by email through Google Workspace. When you sign up, our team gets a short notice in our internal chat (Slack) with your name, province, number of units and language, not your email. These services may process information outside Canada.

These providers handle information only on our behalf. We don't sell or rent your information.

How long we keep it

While the Founding Landlord program runs, and for up to 24 months after your last contact with us, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, and you can withdraw your consent at any time: write to privacy@canrentpro.com or reply "unsubscribe" to any email from us.

If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

CanRentPro isn't offered in Quebec yet. If you live in Quebec and sign up, we'll use your information only to tell you when it becomes available.

Changes to this notice

If we change this notice, we'll post the new version here with a new date.
